Weekly Swing Dance Lessons

About the Lessons

The Swing Kids Club teaches several lessons on Lindy Hop and other forms of swing:

• Beginner's Lindy Hop & Charleston: Before the Saturday dances, from 7:00-8:00pm. No previous experience necessary!
• Lindy Basics: Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30pm. No previous dance experience necessary!
• Intermediate Steps & Technique: Tuesdays from 7:00-8:30pm. We ask that you have completed a four week Lindy Basics series.

Classes are in the Wilkinson Student Center Main Ballroom. Saturday lessons are in the same room as the dance. Come with a partner or by yourself, and be sure to check the events calendar for updated information. You can get the current week's lesson time and place via text message by texting LESSONS to 41411.

Note: While this is a free service provided by the club, your cell provider will charge you whatever they normally charge you for text messages...

Family Home Evenings, wards and stakes, schools or other groups

Please contact Ransom Smith to arrange for instruction or performances for your group.

Private Lessons

Although the Swing Kids Club does not support or promote any private instructors, there are some available in the area and we can refer you to those who are actively teaching. Contact us for more information.
