Steven Mitchell and Virginie Jensen are internationally the most sought after and revered teachers of both lindyhop and blues. This fall they will be in New York City for a special all blues weekend workshop intensive.
2-Track workshops
We want to encourage blues dancers of varying skill levels whether advanced or beginning. Therefore, there will be two class levels. While Steven and Virginie are teaching one class level, other distinquished local and regional blues dancing instructors will teach the other. Both levels will have the chance to experience Steven and Virginie's teaching! We will also be honored to learn from other national and local blues instructors - Ogden Sawyer & Amanda Gruhl, Devona Cartier & Josh Boroff; Michael Lenneville & Emily Schelstrate; and Joy Arico & Justin Hileman.
Blues dancing in New York City is experiencing rapid growth. This is an opportunity to learn from the best!

Registrations will open on Wednesday, July 8th at 11 amEARLY REGISTRATION
$99 full weekend pass - for the 1st 25 registrants
$125 full weekend pass - for the next 25 registrants
$75 one day passafter the first 50 registrants, prices are as follows:
$150 full weekend pass
$75 one day passDoor Prices will be: $180 (full weekend); $90 (day)

American Airlines is offering big discounts on flights to New York City in September if you book by Friday, August 21, 2009. The reduced fares are $109 from L.A. or San Francisco, $99 from Dallas/Fort Worth, $84 from Chicago, and $69 from Miami.
It's part of a NYC & Company promotion to encourage tourists to come to New York and spend their money and fares are good for travel between September 15 and December 12, 2009
