Lindyfest is an amazing lindy hop weekend workshop jammed packed with classes for all dance levels, soul sessions with living legends, hot performances and four endless nights of dancing. Lindyfest brings in hundreds of dancers from all across the globe to learn lindy hop from the masters and experience the excitement of Lindy Hop, all here in Houston.

We're always trying to keeping things cutting edge around here...This year we're the first offer you a chance to tell us about your ultimate dream class! You can choose any amount of instructors and give your class a name and description. They'll be listed on the site and then you can vote for your favorites. We've got a great [url=http://lindyfest.hsds.org/index.php?section=performance]performance[/url] scheduled for you this year at the Saturday evening dance! Check out awesome performances by The Swinging Air Force Dance Troupe from Montreal, the Jr. Jitterbugs from Ohio, our other neighbors to the North, Laura Glaess and Mike Roberts, plus lots more!! Plan on being at that party Saturday night at 11:30pm.

All Lindyfest dances Thursday through Sunday night will be held at the Sheraton Brookhollow, and HSDS has secured a great hotel rate of only $79/night. Do you know someone who's eager to learn lindy hop but just can't commit to going to weekly classes? We are offering a special Beginner's Track crash course for people looking to start their journey into Lindy Hop during the Lindyfest weekend.

We start from the very beginning and teach you how to put the triple in your step. You'll also be treated to special visits from Frankie Manning and Dawn Hampton, both inspirational legends of the dance.
