    Question: What is Jazz?

oh man, now you'll never know!

Jazz is swinging Louisiana music made popular by Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong and others.

Dang it I forgot to log in again. Hey Justin, is there anyway that you can make it so that if you are not logged in and you go to write a message that you get prompted to log in. Swingutah has there's set up like that and it's quite helpful to forgetful folks like me. [Emoticon not found]

I always remember to log in since I use the handy little link at the top right corner that lets me see which threads have been changed since I last logged in. Obviously it wouldn't know what I'd seen to tell me until I've logged in.

If you use the same computer to check the forum, you can also set it to just automatically log you in every time you visit. Thas' what I do.... [Emoticon not found]

for me it was the "word... word" post.

Anyway... you probably should probably set "Always show my e-mail address:" in your profile to "No" as spam bots might pick up your e-mail address and send you helpful information such as an e-mail I recently received with the subject line "ÄúºÃ£¡ÉÌÒµµç×ÓÐź¯´ú·¢£¬ÈÃ660Íò¿Í»§ÖªµÀÄú£¡"

    Yeah.

    Yeah.

or you could get a junk email address that you don't use for anything important. or you could get a good spam filter. but i guess that doesn't work if you're using hotmail or yahoo...

Back in the days before spam was a problem I published my e-mail address all over the freaking internet. Then, once it was a problem I was on my mission and spam bots were going crazy with it. Then, once I got back I forgot it was still on my site. Unfortunately for me, so many people know my e-mail address now that I don't dare change it. I have thought about changing many a time, but it's just not worth it to me yet. Thunderbird catches between 90-98% of my spam (waaaaaay better than outlook). I get anywhere between 5,000-8,000 spam emails a month.

    One must always practice safe-email.

Don't participate in mass emails. They only expose you to email spammers.

Don't engage in email with strangers.

Don't be afraid of spam filters.

hmmmmm... i think it'd be more like promiscuous email poster onliner or something like that.

Really, it was only on my website, as well as software listing sites that used to show that info... and in all my applications.

that reminds me of a joke Jeff Foxworthy (i think) where he compares marrying a hooker to buying a used car. if you want to know the punchline, pm me. otherwise i'll keep it clean. [Emoticon not found]
