You can buy a membership at the door for $12.

You can get a membership and guest pass (bring one other person for free to any and every dance) for $15.

Plus you have to sign a waiver that says if you kill yourself, it's not our fault (some of that great red tape BYU is so in to)

Yessir. I rediscovered the fact that I am directionally impaired. (Translation: I suck at learning dance moves and I can't find addresses to save my life.) But, other than that, I still had fun. I saw Buzz (did he dye his hair black, or was it always?), bobthecow (nice shoes), and an Asian guy in a dark green shirt ... was that you, g4l? If not, you may have to share your title. Are there usually so many people there for lessons?

Lee was another asian guy, but he's from California so he doesn't count. Yes, I was wearing a green t-shirt and red shoes.

And yes, in a fit of spontanaiety, I dyed my hair black. I have recieved such comments from "Oh... it's... fun" to "That's dead sexy" I had never dyed my hair, so I had to give it a shot.

Anyway, you should have said hi! I didn't see you. Of course, I was busy taking care of 'official business' most of the night. Well, hopefully I will one day be able to meet you formally.

So far this semester, yes. If we keep class sizes this big for the rest of the semester, everybody at BYU will be doing Lindy. (Last semester we had some big classes initially, but Saturday night was the biggest I've ever seen)

It is really nice to get a lot of new people into Swing Kids as Seniors like Buzz and I do crazy things like graduamatating, and we need people to run the club in the future.

Rats they're on to me. I need a new disguise.

Oh wait, there's a big long thread about who I might be. . .

Okay, so the picture is of my niece and nephew. It really doesn't look as old as my baby pictures do, coming from an unspecified year in the 80's, so I thought people might realize it's not me. I did have people going for a few weeks though at the start

Just messing, SpecialK is a guy, and an engineer. Like unto myself.

SpecialK, I actually didn't think your avatar was a pic of YOU, but I thought it was a pic of your kids, and (being a mom who has my two kids' photo as my sig) you were their mom. Which begs the question, why your niece and nephew to represent you?

My nephew was born a week or so before the forums came online, so I had the picture handy. One of these days I need to get a cereal box over there.
