KUER and the Salt Lake County Center for the Arts Present
an Evening of Silent Film with Charlie Chaplin’s
“Easy Street” and “City Lights”
KUER FM90 and the Salt Lake County Center for the Arts present an evening of silent film, Friday, September 21st at 7 p.m. at the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City with a live broadcast of RadioWest and a special screening of Charlie Chaplin’s 1917 short film "Easy Street," accompanied by Blaine Gale on the Capitol's Mighty Wurlitzer Organ, and the 1931 full-length feature "City Lights." The broadcast will be the third in a series focusing on silent film.
RadioWest’s Host Doug Fabrizio will be joined by National Public Radio (NPR) film correspondent Bob Mondello and Hunter Hale of the Organ Loft to discuss the silent film era and the work of actor Charlie Chaplin. Following the broadcast, organist Blaine Gale will accompany the short film “Easy Street” with the Capitol Theatre’s celebrated Wurlitzer organ. A screening of the full-length feature “City Lights” will follow.
Audience members are encouraged to dress in period costume. Patrons should be in their seats by 6:45 p.m. for the live broadcast. Admission is 25 cents. The program will air live on KUER FM90 from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday, September 21, 2007. RadioWest airs on KUER weekdays from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. and is repeated at 7 p.m. until 8 p.m.

how early is early? and i have t's and speck's numbers...not erin's. i'm going out to dinner first, so i don't how early i can meet up with everybody.
does anyone know if you can buy tickets in advance? if so, i can swing by there around 3 today and buy tickets. UPDATE: you can't by tickets earlier than 6 o'clock.
