    STOMPY JONES' SINGER NEEDS OUR HELP AND HE NEEDS IT NOW!

    "POPS" WALSH IS FACING MAJOR HEALTH PROBLEMS, CAN'T WORK,
    AND NEEDS $3,000 RIGHT NOW TO STAY IN HIS APARTMENT,
    KEEP HIS HEALTH INSURANCE, AND COVER BASIC BILLS.

    If you have seen the movie "Sicko," or ever had a friend or family member who has faced catastrophic illness, you know how fast things can slip from bad to desperate in a matter of a few months. This is just what has happened to Pops (Peter Walsh) and his wife, Lois. They really need our help right now.

    As a matter of fact, they need $3,000 by the end of July to pay their rent, their phone, their car, and perhaps most importantly their medical insurance.

    We really hope the swing community worldwide can rally together to help he and Mrs. Pops, a delightful woman, out of a desperate situation. If you can donate, great, then after you do that (and even if you cannot) please send an email to everyone in the swing world you know and ask them for help for Pops, please tell everyone at every swing dance about it. Being kicked out of your home while battling illness is a tragedy and we may actually have the collective ability to stop it from happening to two wonderful people, until their disability kicks in.

    Yeah. He's really amazing. Their band played at Camp Hollywood last year.

    Aww pops! I love that man. I remember when he first got sick. [Emoticon not found] he's always been so nice. Brittany and I are "his nieces." He'd always try to help us out with the cute boys. LOL! Anyway, I hope he's doing better at least. He's a great man.

    They play at CH almost every year. I got to dance to them at Disneyland summer of '05. They are legendary in the Cali lindy scene.
