Well, if there was going to be anything at the house tonight, you'd think I'd've heard about it by now. And seeing as I spent most of today and half of yesterday reading, I could use some lindy hop about now-ish.
It occurs to me that my house (conveniently located very near campus) is furnished with speakers and a dance floor. If anyone has follows and music they can bring over, the circle will be complete.

Hm. I would offer my house again, but I don't know when exactly I'm getting back from vacation. I'll get back to you all on that, if it turns out that I have anything to say.
Mmmkay, it actually sounds like my travel plans include getting back to town around 7pm on Saturday. Wait, though, I've also heard rumors that rehearsal on Saturday may be moved to the evening, specifically so that I could make it. If both of those happened, I would expect to be free and ready to host dancing by 9pm. Which isn't any later than the house usually opens, I suppose.
Let's do this thing. 9pm at my house.

Our landlords are a young couple with a three year old who live upstairs, and when we went in to sign our contracts we drooled over their incredibly beautiful wood floors. Then the female half of the couple drops that she was a swing dancer in Seattle but has never been to dances at the Y. If only we could stage a swing-intervention...

Well, um yeah, since two cars got together on their own, but no one else has put together another ride, despite sharing intention and desire over a month ago, I don't have a way there and will have to make do around here.
Mmkay, I'm back early. Edit: but I may be busy as late as 10pm. I'll post here when I'm done, or you can call me. Other than that, feel free to swing by.
Well, shoot. I didn't get out until 10:30, but now I'm here, and expect to be up until all hours of the night, whether you're here or not. Some people have told me they can't make it on such late notice... others have told me they can. At least one other person has told me they can make it, and will try to bring friends, so if you're still looking for swing, let's make it happen.
Otherwise, I'm afraid I might move out of this house before next semester without ever having danced in it! :o

So my parents will gone and I'd like to throw a house party sometime around Thursday or Friday the 16 or 17th. I suppose Friday would conflict with the skillet, so who will be around next week for BBQ / potluck /dancing fun in West Provo?
