    Come celebrate May Day and Emily Anderson's Birthday at Zanzabar Tuesday night, May 1. Emily used to come dancing more often, but she's in a crazy nursing program at Weber State. She's recently been at the Friday night dance at Harlem Nights, ULX, BYU once, and Mihai's Wednesday night workshop.

    Emily Anderson:

    Has anyone heard about or seen Emily Floor perform at Zanzibar or elsewhere? I am planning to get a group together and go there for my birthday this Tuesday and could not find any feedback on her performance. If you have any info please post a response.

    I just heard from Tara that she's at least "decent" (if you know tara, you know what that means) and plays piano and sings a wide variety of jazz, so basically she'll play to the crowd. So come dance and wish Emily a happy birthday, plus I want to dance with you! [Emoticon not found]

    Oh, btw, this is a 21-over-private-club-for-members type of venue.

    I'll be leaving at 8:30.

    It should cost about $5. Oh and the food there is yummy.

    I gathered the 21 business from the thread in "recurring events". I think I'll be able to manage a ride from my place up to lessons, and I'll see you at your place, then.
