I'm not sure if many people on here know this, but I'm gonna be in London for spring term. I assume someone somewhere has got to be familiar with finding swinging events out of country... I think I heard that someone went to France, has anyone been to the UK and danced? Any recommendations?

My program's actually more relaxed than I expected BYU to get, and they don't care if I wander around the city on my own, so I hope to at least visit a couple of venues. It'd be kind of dumb to miss out on dancing in another country.

It also looks like I'll be taking a weekend trip to Glasgow, Scotland, but I can hardly find thing one on events there.

(Sadly, I do miss the London exchange by a couple of weeks. [Emoticon not found] )

Wow, you get to wander off on your own [Emoticon not found]

Let's see, don't we have a provolone lindyhopper who's from the UK? Hmm... doesn't her name start with a 'k' and end with a 'imberly' or something... [Emoticon not found] You should meet her sister too. She's visiting right now and she's pretty cool to boot!

Yehoodi.com is a good place to ask as well... a lot of international and well-traveled U.S. lindy hoppers there....
