So I decided (because I can do that) to throw myself a swing birthday party this year. My birthday is March 10 which falls on a Friday. So I will either rent the Skillet so it's free for everyone or I will have it somewhere else. Any chance the Apollo isn't too expensive? I'm looking into that and a few dance studios. Who knows which ones have good floors (preferably not plywood)?

Are you referring to me wanting to rent the Apollo? I doubt it will work cause it's probably expensive. But I wanted to check into it cause I've heard the floor is pretty sweet.

Yeah the apollo was freakin' expensive $250/hour and everything else was more than I wanted to spend too. So for my birthday, which is this Friday (I'll be 20-finally not a teenager anymore-yeah!)

I'm inviting all those that can join me to dinner friday at the Olive Garden on University Parkway at 6pm. Come and socialize even if money is a problem (you can have free breadsticks). Then we can go crash the FREE dance at BYU's Wilkenson center (see thread in speial events). Remember the dance is semi-causual dress.

I won't be joining you because of OC Exchange, but happy b-day anyway.

Do you have an idea on party size for reservations? I mean I'd like to go, but I haven't seen anybody else say anything.

I've invited other people besides just on the forum. I'm not sure how many people will come. I'm guessing about ten to fifteen. I know Thomas, Ryan, Ken and Justin can't come because they are out of town. Kim is coming. So is my sis, Sarah S. A couple of people from my ward, a couple of people from my program. Tod is coming. Tara and Ian are gonna try and make it. I invited most of the team so a few people there will probably come. We'll see. It should be fun. I'm hoping a lot of people will want to come to the dance.
