I am headed off to France for 3 weeks. Does anyone know of any clubs or websites where I can find places to swing?

I know it isn't something you hear of every day but hey Swing is everywhere isn't it?

Virgil and I went dancing in Paris to their regular venue on Thursday nights. I can't remember exactly where it was at. If you're going to Paris, you might want to talk to Virgil (lindysnob on this forum) cause I can't even remember their website. (unless you speak French, it wouldn't help anyway)

HC's probably right about Toulousse be the best city for swing. Paris wasn't the best for dancing but it was still fun. Mainly because I can now say that I've danced with quite a few Frenchmen. Yay.

    Hope this helps.

I found a few places in Paris to dance. Caveau de la Huchette is a cool venue with great music, but the crowd is a little older (mostly in their fifties). If you're there during the summer, there's a group that gets together every Tuesday on Quai St. Bernard.

we went to caveau de la huchette and were the only ones dancing. paris is hit or miss. the quai st bernard ends the end of sept. but is supposed to be some good dancing. the other place is down by les halles, i think its called happy feet. i don't remember the web site, it didnt help that much anyway.
