While some might consider this approach cheating and or unethical, it is wise to maintain healthy friendships with other people of both genders when you are in a more serious dating relationship. If the relationship goes bad, then you have friends to help you get over it.
As for putting out, I like to hope people here have different priorities.
LOL!
The term "putting out" doesn't have to mean what the guy may or may not have meant it to mean.

I thought that you of all people could have deconstructed that sentence, Miss Grammar.
go suck an egg.
I see angry traci has been on the forums today!
traci:go suck an egg.
Aww.... I don't like eggs.
Incidentally, one of the tactics of emotionally abusive people in relationships is to belittle the partner into giving up friends so the only friend they have left is the abuser.
Completely unrelated thought to most of the posts in this thread. [Emoticon not found]
You seem to know a little too much about this SpecK
I was just commenting on the verbal abuse.
Why you lazy, worthless, good-for-nothing...
Just Kidding!!
It's not just ELECTRICAL engeniers, it's seems to be almost anyone who could be classified as a "nerd". Not a Geek though. Nerds do still have some social skill.
Nerds are the best type of guys because they will, usually, stay committed to you, cherish you, and not be tainted by others. Most of the time nerds are the one girl type.
But who really knows. That would require a poll and those things are never accurate, I know. I studied sociology in college. [Emoticon not found]
J, Did you read the article? It's talking about taking advantage of several women at once because it minimizes resistance.
For the computer guys, while taking CS 236, we had a conversation about dating as a breadth first search as opposed to a depth first search. I think his description is more closely related to breadth first than a parallel circuit. Of course you could go on group dates for parallel processing.
SpecialK:Of course you could go on group dates for parallel processing.
sounds like a good way to get them all to dump you at once...
Actually, it sounds like a scene from my Mormon-reality TV show that I've been planning, "Polyga-date"
I think the meaning of the term "group date" is well established. You can have your "Polyga-date", but a church leaders have long promulgated group dates for teens who've just reached dating age and would be better served with group activities rather than exclusive pairing off. It is a good way to see how several people respond to a social situation with considerably less time and expense than just a couple of people on a date.
It's really fun to have a group date and switch off dates during the night so by the end you've been on 4-7 dates!
It works, and it's fun. And you don't get dumped!
Hey, I'm an Electrical Engineer.... what are we talking about?
"The spark"
Buzz:"The spark"
Sparks? Ooooh, I can make SPARKS!
All's you need is a good power supply, a big inductor, and some wire cutters, and BLAMMO! You've got sparks!
Or you could do something like this:

The Cap'n:Buzz:"The spark"
Sparks? Ooooh, I can make SPARKS!

That's disgusting.
Hey, Fruity, maybe we should work on putting together a group date. We just have to find ourselves an EE that is out of school so he can afford to take group of us out at the same time. If he turns out to be a complete jerk, then at least we can get a free meal out of it and the pleasure of each other's company.
[Emoticon not found]
oh I want to go on the polyga-date.
free meals are great. [Emoticon not found]
The Polyga-date was Buzz's idea, and he's married.
I am an EE who's graduated, single and making money, but I think there are more efficient ways to spend it.
actually I was replying to hepkat's post to frutyspice. Just saying that I wanted in on the deal.

Were you just asking me, hepkat, and sqemily out?
Wow... go SpecK
Yeah, that's precisely what I meant when I said there were more efficient uses of money. [Emoticon not found]

Seems economical to me. [Emoticon not found]
1 date, 1 dinner, three options; as opposed to a date/dinner with each...so much more time committment involved with the latter. [Emoticon not found]
(and no, I'm not saying we're all sharing ONE dinner selection. Maybe we could find some nice dim sum place, though...)
