Nah, that's not lazy. IMing takes much more work than speaking. The question is whether IMing takes more work than getting out of your chair and walking a bit.

We do have an up and down stairs and BOB is the only one living down stairs so I say this was not being lazy. I call it saving your legs sometimes even if I really want food from down stairs I wont go down and get it just so I dont have to go up and down the stairs. If that seems lazy please keep in mind that it usually happens after dance practices and after soccer games.

I just think it's funny that he posted on the forum instead of, say, calling him or text messaging him. I mean, the forum is by nature a time-delayed medium, while calling is pretty immediate. For that matter, so is walking up the stairs.
As for laziness/saving your legs.... It's six of one, a half-dozen of the other. Just because you call it something different doesn't mean it IS something different. *shrug* not that I'm condemning laziness, here. I'm a very lazy person myself.

i prefer the term "efficient" to "lazy"...

i saw that grant was online. he posts from two places: home, or his office at school. since he was on the forum, he was in one of those two places. since he was already online, i figured he'd see a post as soon as he saw a text message...

but i don't need to justify myself to any of you.

    haha! this is awesome. brilliant.

That's a good point. And text messages cost money.

I'm glad you did, though, because now I kinda feel bad about giving you a hard time. Only kinda, though. [Emoticon not found]
