    i've wanted one since they first announced the concept... i don't think i'm in their target demographic though.

    Maybe we could send them an email saying that we are from Nigeria and have a sum of $200 in an undisclosed bank account that we would be happy to split with them 50/50 if they were to give a show of good faith and send us a laptop.

    so is the "buy one, get one" deal.

    buy an OLPC for some third world kid, you get one for yourself.

    unfortunately they don't cost $100. that means it'll cost you about $400 to get one, since you've gotta buy one for the third world kid...
