    We just had to bring back everyone’s favorite from KCLX ’05: The Scamps! Swingin’ in Kansas City since 1946, these cats are known for their enthusiasm for Kansas City style jazz. There’s no doubt they’ll start the weekend off with a bang!

    Wild Women of KCFor Saturday night we bring you the phenomenal Wild Women of KC. Among these four extraordinary women of jazz and blues is Myra Taylor, who began her career in the 1930s in the Kansas City jazz district and is also known for writing “Spider and the Fly.” Three other women with rich histories in jazz will be joining her: Millie Edwards, Lori Tucker, and Geneva Price.

    And this is just the tip of the iceberg, as KCLX promises to have more live music than ever before!
