Maybe. But you'd think that would be canceled out by the terrible things that happened to my formerly bright yellow "Choose 2 Give" shirt.
Both effects have been somewhat mitigated by the dryer.
Speaking of shirts, does Fall bring any plans for new ones?
I think there's still too many of the current generation to merit a new design, but ideas are always welcome
I found the culprit, by the way. There was a new shirt in that load! [Emoticon not found]
Actually, there are quite a few of all (or most) of the past designs. Making new shirts is at the discretion of the current president. We generally lose money on them, but I think most people enjoy them.
how come? are the shirts not sold at or above cost? are too many produced?
Well, we normally sold them at or a little above cost. But there was also the general rule that SKC members got free shirts. So yeah... that was the main thing...
oo. gotcha.
yeaaaaaaaaaaah. [Emoticon not found]

i don't think you can respond to your own post...
It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it. And Wikipedios were just too good. I laughed, for, like, minutes.
Plus, in the word disassociation thread, it's hardly responding to... more like responding away from. eh?
SpecialK:questionable content?
Yeah, that's the one.
I got there from the link at the bottom of XKCD.
See, told you you can reply to yourself.

poop. completely unintentional. you see, i was rudely awakened this morning by a certain roommate, whose name i will not mention, but it might rhyme with "thomas", and i was still a bit groggy. that's my excuse.

Romulus? Oh... Christmas?

Funny, I bought some just the other day.
bobthecow:poop. completely unintentional.
Nah, sometimes you just get a really good one! [Emoticon not found]

Rudely awakened- with two hours to spare for church, and yet you still didn't make it. hehehe
sleep had nothing to do with that, and you know it.
bobthecow:p.s. you copied that??
Apparently so! And when I checked my clipboard, I was quite amused to find it there. And I figured you would be, too.
Upon further reflection, I discovered that I had copied it for purposes of cross-replying into this thread. Like so.
I still don't get why Buzz had a dated link to one of my posts, though. Copied, I assume, from the "Last Post" column. By something that copies alt-texts.
can you talk about the ctrl+v game in the thread about the word disassociation thread?
I figured it was ok as long as I indicated it in the "Post Subject" header.
I mean, if you can't use that to change what game you're talking about, what can you use it for?
but changing thread topic mid-stride is what this forum is best at [Emoticon not found]
the circle is now complete!

Yay! Five points! (unless you googled it, in which case, only one.)

+2 (effective use of available resources)
i don't think googling it should cost someone that many points. after all, in the real world effective use of resources is often worth at least as much as rote memorization.
You give your points, I'll give mine. (Carefully distributed according to a secret and not-entirely-deterministic algorithm that balances the relative probabilities and values of having heard it before, having figured it out, and having had to look past the first hit of a google search).

bwhahaha
Sweet! Five points! No googling involved, and I don't even think I'd heard it before. [Emoticon not found]
How many does that put you at these days?
five. give or take.
Actually, this puts me at seven. ^_^
