cingular. i'm not a fan right now because they like to give me $175 phone bills for no good reason. but i just transferred financial responsibility to my mommy so now she can harrass them when the bill is wrong.

when i was in utah before, i had sprint. i'm a fan of sprint. i was sad that i had to quit sprint because they don't offer service in podunk, california. plus, they offered a student discount at the time. i'd check into seeing if any of the providers offer discounts for uvsc students (i think that's where you're going to school, but i've been wrong before)

i am currently with sprint. i also get a discont with them through my work. i want to get a sidekick with t.mobile but i dont know much about t.mobile service other than everyone has it. so it must be something good? i think sprint is a little over priced even with my discount.

I have always had good experiences with T-Mobile... I get reception anywhere, and I have a pretty good deal through costco...

T-Mobile ive had them for ever. they have great service and I have never droped a call in UT. the only time I droped a call was in ocean shores WA and everyone was droping calls even the sprint and at&t people.

Who do you talk to the most? Find out what they use and get that service. That'll keep you under your monthly minute allotment. That is, of course, if the service has free mobile to mobile calling.

95% of the people I talk to regularly use Cingular. So I have Cingular. I'm on the phone somewhere around 1000+ hours every month, but only like 300 are calls to others outside Cingular.

Seeing as how there are only a possible total of 744 hours in a month, I doubt that. [Emoticon not found]

well i looked at the minutes i used last month and it was only like 400 minutes. i am not on the phone much. i hate talking on the phone. so minutes are not a problem. i think i want to use a sidekick so i have the internet everywhere i go. it is only like $65 a month for unlimited internet and texts and 600 min. and you can hook your lap top up to it and use it everywhere. do other provders do this?

i think most providers do offer some sort of a data plan, which is what you described. i don't know how the prices compare though.

t.mobile has the best prices and best phones. i looked around and sprint, verizon, and cingular all have expensive plans that go with expensive phones.

I've had tmobile for over a year and I've been really happy with them. They have good customer service, I never drop calls and they give you a lot for what you pay for.

i've had t-mobile, atandt, cingular, and now have sprint. reception wise they are all about the same. cingular's customer service sucked. sprint is nic, but i'm on a family plan, so my mommy bought the phone.

Man, you need to learn how to be more efficient with your time if you can't squeeze 1000 hours into a month! haha

hours, minutes... it's only a minor typo.

The T-mobile family plan has worked fairly well for us. Free minutes between the family who I'm liable to talk to a lot, and weekends enough as needed. Took it all away across the country last couple of weeks with very few dead spots (aside from Council Bluffs, which was inconvenient). Of course I don't talk on the phone too much anyway, but it's certainly come in handy.

i don't have letter typos so much anymore. now i have entire word typos. sometimes i'll be trying to type "and" but i'll look at the screen and it says "the" instead. it's pretty crazy.

yeah pops just so you know the minues round up. so it is possible to have that many minutes in a month silly. especially if you make a lot of two minute calls.

typos are easier to catch than whole cucumber mess ups.
