Sorry buddy, but I have seen that Closing Social with Live Band Dance post WAY too often!! We need to keep the dance info up-to-date.

So.... you're fired!!! Um... now get to work!

Well, you're new title is "Whipped", so I'm afraid you can't stage a coup as "the once and Future King."

Not unless you become a BYU student again. . .

Another possible solution is to have someone else take care of that posting. It really should be update every Sunday, even if we don't have all the details.

those can be entered in advance... they don't have to be put in at the start of the week.

Yep, but if there isn't one entered, it will look for the next closest dance, which has been entered for 1.5 years and won't happen until December. Thus, whenever the info is not posted, it defaults to that December closing social.

It's one part planning and one part communication. We should plan our dances at least ten days in advance, post them as soon as they are planned (and hopefully confirmed with scheduling), and announce them and other upcoming events half way through the weekly dance.

One person doesn't need to handle this alone. Find people with the aptitude and reliability to handle different tasks, and ask if they are willing to take care of things. You can even make two people responsible for some tasks, and they can leave messages on the website (or other means) to prevent duplication of work.
