Red Butte Garden's summer concert series hosts some of the best talent known and unknown each year. This year, three groups are performing some hot jazz and blues:

Koko Taylor & Her Blues Machine

Koko was raised on a sharecropper's farm and developed a love of music from church songs and B.B. King's daily radio show beamed in from Memphis. From the tiny clubs on the South Side of Chicago to the 1965 mega-hit Wang Dang Doodle, to five Grammy nominations * Koko Taylor remains the undisputed Queen of Blues.

Dr. John

Every note played by Dr. John is the sound of living New Orleans. "May they keep on keepin' on in N'Awlins" His unique groove blends voodoo mysticism, funk, rhythm & blues, and Creole roots has netted four Grammy awards.
