More info for those who don't venture onto swingutah.com

    Intermediate Lindy Hop - I:

This class focuses on fine tuning and new variations on the lindy hop, including Charleston. We will pick up where Lindy 1 left off and concentrate on building solid partner connection that can be used for more difficult moves. Completion of 2 beginning lindy hop classes is recommended but not necessary.

    Details:

Where: Strictly Business Dance Studio - 677 S, 200 W, Salt Lake City

    Time: Saturday Afternons (June 3, 10, 17, 24) 3-4 pm.

    Teachers: Tommy & Bug

    Notes on Classes

The cost for all month long sessions is $45. We accept payment in the form of cash or check made out to “Utah Swing Dance Association”. Please arrive to the first class 15 minutes early so we may take care of registration without cutting into class time. There is a minimum class size of 4 couples. No partner is required for any class but we encourage students to find someone in the class they can practice with between classes.

Also, don't forget that assuming enough people take the class, you can get a $10 discount if you mention you've seen the cool yellow USDA posters. There's some at our house if you want to look at one. They're spiffy.

Oh, and Tommy and Bug have been great at working my dance skills lately. They've been great at noticing trouble spots / bad habits, while not making me feel stupid when they work to correct them. The positive feedback has been great!

Thanks Grant for the plug. You're bal is looking really cool, I'm glad we could help you out with some stuff.

We're excited that people are interested in taking these classes and want to get as many people there as possible. If there's anything we can do to accomodate more people in the future (ie change times or days, different locations, offer different material in classes) please let us know. We're always eager for feedback!

We hope to see some more provolones up in salt lake for our June classes!

Hmm... you might consider getting in touch with President Zack about teaching in Provo.

Well, we teach Group Private Lessons for $100/hr.

What that means is: if you get a bunch of friends (say 5 couples) and find somewhere to have the lesson, then you can all chip in and get an hour lesson for $10 each. Not a bad deal. What's more is that we can concentrate on whatever you want.

If you're interested, pm me and let's work something out.

BYU isn't a fan of anybody handling money on campus but them.

They also aren't a fan of paid lessons on campus. And we certainly don't break any of the rules here. Nope [Emoticon not found]

it wouldn't have to be on BYU property. Anyplace with a large enough space and smooth floor would work just fine.

Even if it was on BYU property. There are sneaky ways to get around rules like that, like paypal.

I like the way u think!!! if worse comes to worse we could always do it in our house too maybe with 6 couples max id say with 6 people it would only be like $17 each lets see if we can set something up like that.
