Hey ya'll, Wednesday, May 24 Roomful of Blues will be playing at the Depot, a non-smoking private club for members (no worries about the membership thing cuz you get a temporary membership with the cover), in down town SLC. So far 20 or so various Lindy Hoppers in the Salt Lake area have tickets to this event and will be there dancing. If you'd like to make it to a great live Blues show and hang out with fellow Swing dance enthusiasts then come on up!
Roomful of Blues is a five-time Grammy nominee. They have earned a reputation as one of the best horn-heavy, swing blues bands around. And they are also one of the genre's most enduring, now in their 39th year of playing to devoted fans worldwide.

Also, the Depot is 21 and older.....very nice club, very large with a very large dance floor. Hope ya'll can make it up for some good times!

Yo Roach!..............KRCL's goal is to broadcast the shows live as soon as possible. As for this show it will be re-broad cast on Monday the 29th at 9 pm during KRCL's regular Red, White and Blues program. If we have enough Swing dancers there we're shore to get an "honorable mention" during the show by the band........this intern means broader recognition for dancers and our hobby........which intern could generate more interest in our hobby.........and intern give us all more friendly dance faces to meet, greet and have fun with! Hope you all can come out and do your local Swing scene a patriotic favor and be seen at the Depot on May 24th!!!!!
