But the problem with going country dancing to find girls to date is then you end up dating a country dancer, and with that comes of course the dancing, music, etc.... of course there is always the argument that you could bring them over to the gospel of swing, but in my limited experience I haven't seen too much success in that area.
so i hate to admit that in high school i did a little country swingin. yeah it was not fun. the people are not my stlye, the music definately isn't, and the only thing really good about it is that i get to dance. it is my passion. but i have quite the dance background for all you people that dont know. i have been a ballerina since i was three and did that most of my life, then i got to middle school and did tap, hip hop, and jazz. then in high school i tried a little bit of ballroom then country swing then i came to college and was introduced to this. i love it and i plan on improving immensely. problem is finding time to dance. i wish work would not schedule me every weekend!
I wish they wouldn't schedule you every weekend too! Even though I am not there not. I still miss you when you are not at the dances ashes.

Ah... but were you brought into swing by someone else? It seems like you just realized the folly of your ways, came to your senses, and starting coming over from the dark side on your own.... my point was that I personally have seen little success when two people are "dating" or whatever and there is an attempted conversion...
It's like when you were on your mission and the girls would say that they were going to convert there boyfriend, and then get married in the temple, and then live happily ever after. And we would say, "Alright, let us know how that works out for you."
