this is from the front page. in case you're like me and always skip straight to the "posts since last visit" page...
the mystery events posting person:
This week we have the Army's Live Band playing for us. Admission will be free! That's right... free! Come and dance until you drop (or until Guest Services kick us out)
i don't know where it is, when it starts, or if there's a lesson beforehand... but check this out! i hear the band is great.
(there might be more info here)
if you're not going to denver, you have to go to this. no excuses.

I will be in denver, but I echo the affirmation that if you are in town you should go to this band. I mean, you have to schedule these guys a year in advance! That means they gots to be cool right?

Anyway, the 23rd Army band is an excellent band for swing dancers. They play authentic 1940's swing music.

UPDATE!!!! The band will not be playing this saturday- due to several engagements of certain band members, the performance has been rescheduled for the 29th of May. Which means two things primarily- we get to promote it more/arrange to have more people, and all the people (or at least more of) going to denver can also go to hear them play.
I will see if I can get the admin or Zack to change the front page of the website to match accordingly.

Ashes: Yeah, I am happy too about the rescheduling... it was quite fortuitous... I have heard really good things about the band, and the fact that you have to schedule them a year in advance makes it hard to hear them as often as one would like.
