    Professional:

    1. A person following a profession, especially a learned profession.

    2. One who earns a living in a given or implied occupation: hired a professional to decorate the house.

    3. A skilled practitioner; an expert.

Yes, we have professionals here. They just may not be as skilled as some other professionals...

  3.

Yes! Thank you pop... This is strictly for local scene professionals and amateurs.. you know who you are [Emoticon not found]

But I will post more detailed info soon

    Savvy Sultan:

Anyone who considers themsleves "Pro" I would guess is welcome to sign up.. However in my opnion it would be anyone who teaches Lindy Hop as their profession.. or even as a hobby and gets paid or compensated somehow. Or anyone who has competed in any advanced category competition locally and placed 3rd or better would be pro.. I will give more details on the rules and qualifications later

So that means I'm a pro even though I don't get paid?? [Emoticon not found]

  4.

Yes... I would consider you a pro Roach.. You are definately not a beginner or amateur.. But I will leave the entry to the discretion of the competitors.. Since this is a local competition only I would like to see the seasoned veteran dancers compete in the same category. How you will be judged in the individual categories will be up to the judges...
