    Go up I-15.

Take the 9000 S exit- turn right (east).

Make a right at the first light- this street is named Monroe.

Go south on Monroe for a little over a block. You will pass a gaudy nightclub named Club 90.

The road will start to curve to the right after club 90- you do not.

This is the trick- you keep going straight as if you are going to run off the road, and almost by magic a driveway appears on the left side of the road (almost directly in front of you). Turn into said driveway and drive to the back of the lot. You should see a building and cars (if this is after about 9 or so).

    Congratulations. You are there.

However, I don't think anyone's going to the skillet this friday- isn't everyone headed to the Jazz Festival in SLC? That's this weekend right?

The skillet is incredibly easy to get too, but terribly difficult to recognize.

Feed this to google maps: 9119 Monroe Plaza Way, Sandy, UT

    and you get this

add Provo as your starting point.

So as that map shows, you get off at 9000 S from I-15 and go right (east). Then take a right at the first light which has an Arby's.

Go south past club 90, and on the left will be a metal warehouse building housing eMotion dance studio, which becomes The Golden Skillet when we take it over. The driveway is pretty funky, and the green arrow on the google map points south more towards the building than the driveway.

'Tis the season for carpool arrangements! Whether you're looking for a ride (as I expect gumby will be) or looking for riders (as sarsaparilla occasionally does) drop me a line. PMs, emails, instant messages, or phone calls should get the job done about equally well.

    BLARGH!
I missed Karen's bal class on Tuesday, and I'm going to be out of town for the rest of August. I guess I'll look on some kind of bright side. Just maybe these classes will continue into September. That would be sweet. I did get ten minutes of instruction at the house, so I'm theoretically not completely bal-less. Maybe with all the bal in the air these days, some of it will eventually rub off on me.

So a note about the Balboa classes. When the description said beginners, it is referring to beginner balboa dancers, not beginning swing dancers. No offense, but if you have never danced before, I wouldn't attempt this class.
Balboa is a dance that most beginner dancers won't understand, and I am not going to take the time to explain the things you should already know.
