    No... the problem wasn't an intel chip... the problem really was lack of cooling... his tower is about 8 inches by 8 inches... [Emoticon not found]

    hahahaha 45C and you're celebrating?

    I use water(yes, water as in H20) to cool my AMD processor for the last 3 years. My processor never goes above 20C and it's dead silent. Next step is liquid nitrogen [Emoticon not found]

    yeah. i considered that... the problem is space. my computer is about the size of a shoebox. there isn't room for two hard drives, let alone a water cooling setup.

    and 45C is well within tolerable range.
