The U Res Halls are hosting a dance this Friday up in front of the Heritage Center. The first hour will have the Lloyd Miller Band, and the rest of the evening will be a Hip-Hop DJ. It is hosted for residents, but all are welcome. It'd be awesome to have as many outside dancers come to encourage people to dance. So pass the word on and PLEASE COME!!!

I dunno... to be honest I wasn't too impressed with them the thursday before ULX.... inconsistent rhythms, not super danceable song choices, etc....
Man, they were so hot Friday night of ULX05!! Everybody was raving, except for the banter between songs. I heard ULX head honchos were pretty selective/specific about their playlist though.
I was surprised people like them at ULX 05...

agreed. they were decent songs, but not for dancers.
Man, I had some hoppin dances w/ follows who turned out to be some of denver's best, luckily i didn't know they were that good when I asked them. I was later very intimidated [Emoticon not found] I remember the vocalist and piano player distinctly.
Lloyd's a pretty crazy kid. But he's pretty talented on the piano. And just prob'ly any other random instrument he picks up.
