Looks like they won't be closing down the school in Herräng at least in the near future, so the dance camp should be safe for the next couple of years. [Emoticon not found]

Dear Brian,

Thank you for your email regarding the Herräng School.

I am glad to be able to inform you that at present there is not any longer a threat for the school. But as you probably know Herräng has a very small population and the number of children has been in decline for some time. If this trend is not broken the school might come under considerations for closure again some time in the future.

You who have visit Herräng probably agree with me that the village has a lot to offer. What the village needs is an inflow of people with good ideas.

I would appreciate if you and your fellow dancers could work as ambassadors for Herräng. You come from all over the world and you probably meet a lot of creative people.
