Flying Home by Lionel Hampton (one of my all-time faves). Someone's even playing the vibes on this recording!

I've gone through all my Slim & Slam songs! Sounds like they're singing "Gangbusters"

Disc One w/ Gang Busters & Public Jitterbug No. 1

Disc Two some of the titles just sound sooo cool -- One Is Never Too Old to Swing

Disc Three or funny -- When Elephants Roost in Bamboo Trees

Hey uh... my birthday's coming up and uh... they're only $4 a piece used ... so uh... [Emoticon not found]

    Cool article here.

Why do you make that assumption? [Emoticon not found] Does PTS have music-illiterate written on his forehead?

Oh come now. When most bands perform they're really rather boring to watch. Therefore a band that's different is cool. [Emoticon not found]

I had always loved this clip, but I didn't realize The Deep River Boys had made a large amount of recordings. Ran into this sound bite thanks to this page, this history article, and these CDs for sale. Really diggin'em.

Unrelated to The Deep River Boys, this song is hot*.

*When I say "hot," it has the same meaning as "red HOT jazz."

    But Boogieloo, what is jazz?
