    Check it out: http://www.renodancesensation.com/index.htm

(If you're not broke after the Sac Exchange and Finals, tickets are $115, which includes classes and dancing for the whole weekend, and it also includes contests, and a show Saturday night. And there's classes in other dances like west coast, carolina shag, night club 2 step, hip hop, etc. From what I hear, lindy is actually a relatively new addition to the list.

I might head up, especially if i can split a room with one or three other people. [Emoticon not found]

That is an awesome event... I went one year. If any of you all are planning on going, you won't regret it.

  1.

    Hi friends!

So, I feel pretty poorly that I didn't get to dance with many of you (or not often enough) this past weekend =(. Heck, I didn't even get to dance with Dave BKA "Buzz" and we like started dancing together way back when...

So, you guys should come to Reno!!! There will be lots of us Sacramentonians there and I had a blast last year. yeah for being stuck in a hotel all weekend with dancing pretting much 24/7! Good times!

    Laura

  2.

...and its not official yet...but i may be added to the DJ list (fingers crossed)...

    Sweet! Laura's DJ-ing!

now I have to make a hard decision:

    Reno Dance Sensation

    or

    LA Lindy Exchange

  3.

    I'm already booked for LA.

  4.

It's awesome to find out that I got the gig for sure through the BYU board! I'm glad all of you found out before I did! That is how special you are!!!

And Traci, definitely Reno. LA dancers are awesome but not always so friendly. I need lindy love to get me somewhere.

And Ryan, where's the love?!! Reno is only like 6 hours away...(insert cute puppy dog face here)

I booked LA before I knew about Reno. Also, I'm flying to LA so it's not 6 hours in a car. [Emoticon not found] Reno sounds really really cool though. Wish I could go!

If I get a job real soon, I'd be tempted... or should I get a laptop instead...

  6.

That's always a tough one... should I spend my money on something a little more lasting and fun, or go have fun for a weekend?

Of course, the friends and memories one makes on these trips is more lasting than some object... which is why I go on them.

Which is why it's a tough decision.

K, well keep June 10th open. We're hosting another workshop with Solomon and Noni. We'll have some good times and I think that will make up for you not coming to Reno to hear me DJ =).
