Missie was the one that gave me the link. She seemed to think that men were worth more than women.

i think so too, especially since men are usually paid more than women.

I did some checking, it doesn't value women more than men.

another thing that might skew it is that you get to pick your own i.q., and it makes it appear as though your i.q. increases with the level of education you attain. i.q. doesn't have much to do with education, instead it is a measure of intellect. i know what my i.q. is, but it didn't match up with the range of i.q.'s for people who have a bachelor's degree, so i lied (only because i wanted it to be about the same as people who are guessing their i.q.)

I didn't take the SAT. It was kind of a protest against my school for failing to properly inform me about the ramifications of taking a specific PSAT as a junior for National Merit qualification and when I needed to sign up for it.

I knew I was coming to BYU anyway, so I just took the ACT. I do take exception to the mentality of testcramming classes somehow being the ultimate measure of how smart and qualified a teenager is for life. An old roommate certainly felt those classes entitled him to his scholarship.

There are conversions for ACT -> SAT. I didn't take the SAT, just the ACT. I got a 32 on the ACT. The conversion tools I found on the internet told me that was about a 1400 on the SAT, so that is what I used.

I did show them. I didn't have to take it, so I didn't, and they didn't get any of my money. That's like any other consumer exchange where you don't buy after you get burned once.

As for still sorry, I complained to the powers that be who were involved, so hopefully the school's preparation is better.
