this is prob'ly the wrong place to post this, but do you realize that the mailing list daemon escapes the quotes in your name ("buzz"[Emoticon not found] on every single message?

if you know that already, great. otherwise, i just wanted you to know it looks goofy.

Meh... yeah, I knew that. But how it looks in your email client is determined by which client you use. Some just show the escape characters, while others show it correctly (because of the escape characters) It's a trap due to lack of a standard in interpreting the from field of an email.

you could use magic quotes (curlies). then it would display properly in any email client that uses the exact same character encoding as i do... or you could try single quotes (maybe it doesn't escape them).

Or I could be lazy and not worry about it, since I will only be sending out emails for the next month and a half or so.

Hm... I'm putting my money on the latter.

Both Thunderbird and Microsoft Outlook don't show it. It's mostly webmail clients that do.
