I think it's time to start the official cheesecake thread. Costco has a particularly good strawberry cheesecake. Personally, I think that cheesecake is the substace of life, though I can't really have too much at once (just too rich).
Anyone else here have a favorite flavor, or better yet, make a really good homemade cheesecake?
I had cheesecake in Mexico, and it's just not the same. In fact, it was almost nasty. For me, there is one supreme ruler of cheesecake, and that's New York style. Put any kind of topping on it, or just eat it plain. But it has to be New York style.

Outback has a really good cheesecake. Sometimes if I'm too full after a night there. I take it home with me and eat it later.
bobthecow doesn't seem to understand the finer points of cheesecake discussions. It is very much about cheesecake. Cheesecake is awesome. Words to describe cheesecake can be: sweet, smooth, delicious. Do you not like cheesecake? Missie used to make this really good homemade cheesecake with a graham cracker crust. Now that was good.
I like New York style cheesecake, but it depends on my mood as to whether I find it better than strawberry or not.

I love whip cream, though I am partial to Cool-Whip brand. Mmmmmm, cheesecake and cool-whip....... I think I'll take a quick trip to the kitchen.
i like cupcakes better.
I think the whipped cream out of the can tastes about the same and is more fun.
I can't handle non-dairy whipped cream ::ich::, so I'm all about home whipped cream [Emoticon not found]
As for cheesecake, one of my all-time faves is cheesecake factory's dulce de leche cheesecake.

I actually do just think of cheesecake. For a very long time, the cheesecake thread was in fact about cheesecake. Somewhere along the way it got corrupted, but even when corrupted, it still was about cheesecake. So you don't like cheesecake?

Homemade cheesecake and homemade whipped cream are definitely the best. And I'm with Traci, I like anything with chocolate on it, especially cheesecake.
