traci:Did you declare yourself president? If so, does that mean I can declare myself president upon your leaving?
Hey! I am heading up this revolution... when you move back here, you can try and overthrow me....
Buzz:True democracies also allow everybody to declare things.
But I think bob is right, it's a dictatorship. Cuz I'm no elected official.
we live in a representative democracy anyway.

Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not some farsical aquatic ceremony!

if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

So, what the best method to find an apartment between University Mall and the Y's campus? 2 bedroom, moderately priced, preferably with a gym (I have to maintain my muscle mass [Emoticon not found] ). Apparently people don't use Craig's List around here?

not so much.
do grad students have to be in approved housing? if they do, check byu's off-campus housing guide.
otherwise, stay as far away as possible!
bobthecow:do grad students have to be in approved housing? if they do, check byu's off-campus housing guide.
Ooo, :: biting lip :: I have no clue. Thanks for the heads up! ... Let's see now, how do I find out...
BYU Housing Services:All single BYU undergraduates are required to live in On- or Off-Campus Housing that is approved by the University. Exceptions to this rule must be specifically approved by the Off-Campus Housing office.
So can I infer that BYU graduate students are not required to live in approved housing? =)

[Emoticon not found] Glad you got my little joke [Emoticon not found]
Hmm... I just realized that I'm looking for "family" housing since I'm hoping to find a place for my sis and me... around the mall might be nice... hmm...

We'll be the 3 pengyos/tongzhis/tomodachis (y'know like the 3 amigos).
You don't have to live in "approved" housing if you are over 25, lawfully wed, or a graduate student (or if you're living with yer mom, but who wants to admit that?)
Thanks for the clarification, traci. Though I love my mom dearly [Emoticon not found], I'll admit that I'm looking to live with my sis who works at the mall.

is this the sister with the stella?
Really, who don't even have to if you fall under Traci's categories. You just have to get special approval (which I hear they have to give to anybody who asks)
Anyway, there are a lot of places near Office Depot, I would look around there. There are actually quite a bit over by DI as well. As for a (good) comprehensive list, I have no idea where that could be found.
PS - Does that mean you got in?
This is cool.. more and more people moving to provo... we'll take over the swing world yet buzz...
bobthecow:is this the sister with the stella?
Yessa', 'tis the sista' with the stella.
And buzz, naw, I haven't heard back yet. But we're still planning the move.
