About the BYU Swing Kids

Brigham Young University Swing Kids Club has been around since 1996, giving Provo, Utah the chance to learn, practice, and enjoy swing dancing. Our purpose is to serve one another and the community by building an appreciation for swing dancing and music. We hold weekly lessons and dances as well as the occasional workshop or special event.

Weekly Dances

Swing Kids weekly swing dances are held every Saturday from 8-11:30 pm. The club usually meets in either the RB, or the Smith Fieldhouse, or, on special occasions, the Wilk Ballroom. Check the events page or sign up for the email list for details.

Swing Dance Lessons

Swing lessons are given by the Swing Kids Club every Tuesday from 7-8:30pm in the WILK Ballroom, and every Saturday from 7-8:00pm, before the dance. Private lessons for individuals, couples, or groups can also be arranged through the club. Visit the lessons page for more details.
